Martini Time

This is an old school martini piece. It has the classic martini, cigar, and the guy olive lounging by the ashtray. I used the black background of the painting to allow the eye to fill in the rest of the ashtray.

Michael Godard was wondering, what is the best time for a martini? Morning? Afternoon? Evening? In this painting he decided that martini time is endless. The broken hour glass shows that time is stopped, meaning that martini time is all the time.
